Дан међународног хуманитарног права у Србији
На иницијативу Београдског међународноправног круга 2023. године по први пут је обележен Дан међународног хуманитарног права у Србији. Овај догађај представља јединствену прилику да се упознамо са актуелним стањем и изазовима у области међународног хуманитарног права у нашој земљи. Придружите нам се на овом догађају који нуди јединствену прилику да истражите тренутно стање и изазове међународног хуманитарног права у нашој земљи. Овај догађај окупља стручњаке, практичаре и научнике како бисмо разговарали о хитним питањима, поделили увиде и подстакли дијалог о критичним темама. Доступан је и зборник радова са научне конференције.

The conference is organized around four panels:
1. Beyond "Internal": The Globalization of Non-International Armed Conflicts — The erosion of the NIAC/IAC divide, cross-border dimensions, foreign involvement, and whether existing legal categories remain adequate.
2. Civilian Protection at the Breaking Point — Attacks on survival infrastructure, weaponization of starvation, loitering munitions, and the collapse of protected status for humanitarian and medical actors.
3. New Spaces of Conflict: From Cyberspace to the Global Commons — Cyber operations under IHL, dual-use satellites, maritime security, IHL in outer space, and normative gaps in emerging conflict domains.
4. New Actors in Armed Conflicts — Non-state armed groups, individual criminal responsibility, accountability beyond the state, and the role of international and humanitarian organizations.

Opening keynote address will be delivered by Marco Sassòli, Full professor, University of Geneva – Faculty of Law, one of the leading authorities on IHL in the world.
